The highlight of the resource is the engaging digital escape room-style challenge, where students read an original narrative back story where they stumble upon the location of the long lost city of Mermaids in the library archives and try to find it. Then, they must collaborate in groups to crack an argument writing-related challenge to solve the puzzle and find the passphrase to unlock the door so they can enter the ancient underground City of Mermaids.

The adventurer discovers a treasure chest with clues to a complex puzzle that must be solved to unlock the door to an ancient underground City of Mermaids!
